Nadeshot reveals what he would have done if OpTic CoD team had been dropped

Nadeshot was a large part of OpTic‘s growth, as a star member of their Call of Duty team from 2010 to 2015, pushing the brand to new levels of popularity.
Following his retirement from professional play, Damon ‘Karma‘ Barlow replaced him on the roster, and this new lineup went on to become the winningest team in the history of the esport.
Three time world champion Karma was approached by Nadeshot to join 100 Thieves.However, due to complications with the players’ agent and clashes with OpTic parent company Infinite Esports, it has been revealed that plans were made to drop the Call of Duty team, alongside the Halo team (which was in fact dropped), in early 2018.
Thankfully for OpTic fans, these plans for the CoD team never came to fruition, as it would have seen the organization lose popular personalities like Scump and Crimsix – but Nadeshot says he would have swooped them right up.
“I just can’t fathom the thought of dropping the Call of Duty team,” Nadeshot exclaimed, “I mean, shit, I wish they would’ve, I would have signed Scump in a heartbeat.”
Nadeshot also revealed that he was attempting to recruit Crimsix, as well as Karma, during the offseason heading into Black Ops 4.
It’s known that Karma turned down the option to join 100 Thieves, largely due to the other teammates who he would have joined on the roster, choosing to rejoin OpTic instead.
Infinite Esports is expected to sell the OpTic brand to Immortals, although H3CZ is also apparently in the running to retain the organization.
Although it would have been a great opportunity for him and 100 Thieves, Nadeshot was clearly not on Infinite’s side on the decision to attempt to drop the squad, which is undoubtedly the most valuable roster in the CoD esports.
