SpaceLy Announces New Role With Luminosity Gaming Ahead of CWL Pro League Stage Two

Former Luminosity player Michael “SpaceLy” Schmale has revealed he will be taking on a new role within the organization he played for back in 2016, ahead of stage two of the CWL Pro League.

SpaceLy has had a tough start to the 2018 CWL Season for CoD: WWII, failing to make the Pro League Stage One with his initial roster under Ghost Gaming, and has struggled to put together a competitive roster since.

He has played in the CWL National Circuit since, with PURE Gaming most recently, but the team finished 6th of 8 teams in both Stage One and Two.

With Stage Three fast approaching, SpaceLy has confirmed he will compete in the National Circuit – with a new roster – but has also taken on another role as an analyst/coach for his former organization, Luminosity.

Luminosity have of course just made a major roster change, with Sam “Octane” Larew departing for OpTic Gaming, and Matthew “FormaL” Piper moving the other way in a straight trade.

Perhaps they will look to have SpaceLy’s input as the new roster tries to work out the kinks of their game and work out how to best use the new mix of talents.

He also reveals that he will be teaming with Jeremy “StuDyy” Astacio, Mikhail “Blfire” Glushenok and Jared “Nagafen” Harrell for Stage Three of the National Circuit, although it is unclear which organization they will represent.

For his Pro League role with Luminosity, the team will take part in Division B, with matches starting on May 29th (Division A begins May 15th).

LG will be going up against FormaL’s old team OpTic Gaming in the Division, in what will be undoubtedly the most anticipated match of the league.
