How to watch $20,000 Friday Fortnite on June 7 ft. Ninja, PewDiePie, & more – $10K viewer prize, stream, bracket, players, format

YouTuber Daniel ‘KEEMSTAR‘ Keem and online tournament hosts UMG have partnered up again to bring back the popular Friday Fortnite tournament series and we’re now in week two of the action.

After taking about a year off from the action, Friday Fortnite has returned thanks to FaZe Clan putting up $60,000 to sponsor the tournament.

If this is the first time you’ve heard of the tournament, we have you covered with everything you need to know below.

When does Friday Fortnite begin?

The next Friday Fortnite tournament is scheduled to take place on Friday, June 7, beginning at 1 PM PT / 4 PM ET / 9 PM BST and expected to continue on for several hours.

The tournament will be streamed live on UMG’s official Twitch channel, which we will include below for your convenience. In addition to that stream, the players will also be streaming on their own channels meaning you’ll be able to watch along with Ninja, Myth, SypherPK and the rest of your favorite streamers as you root them on.

Who will be playing in Friday Fortnite?

The second week of Friday Fortnite isn’t nearly as star-studded as the first week was, but that doesn’t mean it’s completely devoid of talent.

Ninja and PewDiePie are certainly the duo to look for this week, and it has the possibility to break records on Twitch as these are two of the biggest internet gaming personalities out there.

Official Friday Fortnite bracket

Below is a look at the June 7 Friday Fortnite bracket. It will be updated live throughout the day by UMG, which also means it’ll be updated here.

What is the Friday Fortnite format?

Friday Fortnite ditches the traditional competitive format and uses public lobbies.

In each round, all of the teams matched up in the bracket will queue into a Squads lobby together, where they will then try and get as many eliminations as possible.

After two matches, the team with the most eliminations will advance to the next round. Players are discouraged from sabotaging their opponents during a match and can face disqualification if they are found to be doing so.

Examples of sabotage include but are not limited to the following:

• Breaking or weakening opponent’s built or non built structures or cover by any means.
• Causing opponents to miss shots or miss opportunities for advancing their scores in any way shape or form.
• Building in front of your opponent.
• Boogie Bombing your opponent.
• The use of a boogie bomb on your opponent at any point in the game is subject to disqualification

Win $10,000 for watching

Just as with the previous week of Friday Fortnite, the June 7 running will also see one lucky viewer chosen to win $10,000 from FaZe Clan’s Ricky ‘Banks’ Banks.

The winner will be randomly chosen from viewers who are “actively participating” in the chat of all of the major Friday Fortnite streams, including the central UMG stream as well as the individual Twitch channels of the participants. 

Last week’s winner was ‘Faders__,’ who was picked from Ninja’s stream. Coincidentally, he turned out to be a huge fan of FaZe Replays and first received the news that he had won from the Fortnite star himself.
