We are well and truly in the midst of one of the hottest periods of the gaming calendar as this is roughly the time when all the developers reveal what’s in the pipeline and show off already revealed titles. With no E3 this year, Summer Game Fest 2022 is going to be the blockbuster gaming attraction.

A week that will see countless new video game announcements will also welcome the Capcom Showcase. The company is on a bit of a roll at the moment with the recent announcements of the Resident Evil 4 Remake, Resident Evil Village DLC, and pulling back the curtain a bit more on Street Fighter 6.

Below, we’ll cover everything we expect to see and how you can watch it.

The Resident Evil 4 Remake was arguably the biggest talking point of Sony’s June 2022 State of Play.

How to watch the Capcom Showcase

Capcom fans will eagerly be tuning in on Monday, June 13, at 3 PM PT / 6 PM ET / 11 PM BST to watch the Capcom Showcase take place and see what unfolds.

You can tune into the stream here, or watch it on Capcom’s official YouTube page below:

Remember, Capcom has already told fans not to expect any new reveals or previously unannounced games during the showcase.

The event will provide an in-depth look at games that have already been announced.

We can definitely expect to see new details and gameplay footage from key franchises like Resident Evil and Street Fighter. Capcom is rumored to be working on Resident Evil 9, but it’s likely too early to see any snippets of that game, especially when a RE4 Remake is confirmed and due for release in 2023.

It will be interesting to see how it looks and plays compared to the original. Whereas Street Fighter 6 fans are chomping at the bit to see what the new World Tour mode entails.
