MultiVersus Ranked Mode is a game mode that keeps matters interesting as players compete to stay at the top. Here’s everything you need to know about the mode.

MultiVersus relaunched in its full glory in 2024 with the release of Season 1 Battle Pass, featuring various new additions such as new characters, currency, and even a fun parry mechanic. However, what seemed to be missing was the coveted Ranked Mode.

All competitive online games feature some Ranked Play system to give players a sense of accomplishment. However, despite the devs adding a bunch of new additions to the game, ranked mode was nowhere to be seen.

So, here’s everything you need to know about when Ranked Play could make its way to MultiVersus and how you can play it.

As of writing, Ranked Mode is not available in MultiVersus.

When will Ranked Mode return in MultiVersus?

As of writing, there is no news as to when Ranked Mode will return to MultiVersus. The mode was originally playable when the game was in open beta. However, it is important to note that even then, Ranked Mode was released after almost seven months since the game’s release.

The older Ranked Mode included 1v1 and 2v2 fights as the game pits you against players of the same skill set. It remains to be seen if the new Ranked Mode will be similar to this, as Player First Games have added a plethora of new modes and gameplay mechanics.

As always, we’ll be sure to update this hub as and when new information is revealed. Till then, you can take a look at the best Fighters ranked for 1v1 & 2v2. You can also check out how to unlock all characters in MultiVersus.
