While Honkai Star Rail’s expansive universe can be enjoyed without spending any money, utilizing the available free redeem codes can provide you with extra benefits to enhance your in-game experience, whether you’re new to gacha games or a seasoned player.

If you’re looking to add the best Honkai Star Rail characters to your lineup and gain access to the upcoming or current banner 5-star, you’ll also need to accumulate a significant amount of Stellar Jade.

These sparkling crystals are used to purchase Star Rail Passes and Star Rail Special Passes, which can be used to roll on the game’s banners — also known as gacha. Stellar Jade is also used to refill the Trailblaze Power stamina system.

Honkai Star Rail redeem codes (May 2024)

New codes appear in Honkai Star Rail quite frequently, and there are currently three available to redeem, which have been checked and verified in-game and are confirmed to be working as of May 30, 2024.

Once these have been activated, head back over to the Honkai Star Rail app. If done correctly, you should receive an in-game notification. Click on the ‘Mail‘ icon from the pause menu to claim your rewards.

Honkai Star Rail version 2.2 livestream codes (May 2024)

For every version livestream, Honkai Star Rail shares three codes, but those are only available until the end of the stream day and expire quickly. Here are the codes for the 2.2 livestream:

Since version 2.2 livestream was on April 26, these codes are no longer claimable. We’ll update this page with new livestream codes for the upcoming 2.3 version, so you can circle back during the stream for new codes. 

Usually, HoYoverse schedules them two weeks before the said version goes live. 2.3 is expected to be released on June 19, 2024. This means, by the current schedule, the 2.3 livestream could be on June 7, 2024. However, keep in mind that these are just speculations based on past patterns and are not official unless confirmed by the developers.

How to redeem codes on PC and mobile

Redeeming codes in the game is incredibly simple.

In order to enter these codes in the game, you’ll want to follow the simple instructions outlined below.

  1. Launch Honkai Star Rail and log in as usual.
  2. Open the main menu.
  3. Click on the three dots located to the right of your character’s name and select “Redemption Code.”
  4. Input the code into the provided field and confirm.
  5. Select the mailbox in the top right-hand corner to claim your rewards.

It’s important to note that codes can also be redeemed online by heading over to the game’s official website, which can be found here.

For livestream codes, you can also just log in to your HoYoLab account, and whenever they’re live, you’ll find them in the “HoYo Guide” section of Honkai Star Rail. All you have to do is click on “Claim” and codes will be sent directly to your in-game mail and you don’t even have to enter them.
