Mamoswine in Pokemon Go.

Mamoswine is a very strong attacker in Pokemon Go, but to unlock its true potential, trainers must know the proper moves to teach it. Here are Mamoswine’s best movesets for PvP and Raids battles.

Mamoswine is an Ice/Ground type Pokemon that has remained relevant in Pokemon Go since it debuted in February 2019. This became especially true once it gained access to more moves and its Shadow variant was added.

It isn’t the easiest Pokemon to find outside of events but if you do happen to catch a strong Mamoswine or its pre-evolution, Swinub, which is currently being featured in Rivals Week 2024, you’ll want to know which moves to use.

Pokemon Go Mamoswine best PvP moveset

The best PvP moveset to use on Mamoswine is Powder Snow as a Fast Move with Avalanche as a Charged Move.

Mamoswine’s main advantage in PvP is that a lot of the most prevalent Pokemon are weak to Ice-type attacks. This is especially true in Master League where Dragon types are extremely common and dominate the meta.

With access to both Powder Snow and Avalanche, Mamoswine has the means to take these Dragons down and prevent your team from getting overwhelmed.

As for coverage moves, players should consider adding a secondary Charged Move and going with High Horsepower to deal the most damage thanks to STAB.

Pokemon Go Mamoswine best Raid moveset

In Raids the best moveset for Mamoswine is also Powder Snow as its Fast Move and Avalanche as its Charged Move. This setup gives Mamoswine the best DPS possible against Raid bosses weak to Ice-type attacks.

Alternatively, a combination of Mud-Slap and High Horsepower turns Mamoswine into a fantastic Ground-type attacker. Despite this, it’s still recommended to prioritize an Ice-type moveset as it allows Mamoswine to fulfill its full potential as the best Ice-Type Pokemon in the game.
