Radiant Cards are some of the best cards in the Pokemon Go TCG set

Best cards in the Pokemon Go TCG set

These are some of the best cards you can get in the Pokemon Go TCG set, in our opinion:

Name Card
Radiant Charizard Radiant Charizard in the Pokemon Go TCG set
Radiant Blastoise Radiant Blastoise in the Pokemon Go TCG set
Radiant Venusaur Radiant Venusaur
Mewtwo VSTAR Mewtwo VSTAR in the Pokemon Go TCG set
Conkeldurr V (Alternate Art) Alternate Art Conkeldurr card
Secret Ditto Ditto TCG

You can spot a secret Ditto by looking for a small Ditto at the bottom left-hand corner of a card. Peel away the top layer, and you’ll find a hidden Ditto underneath!

Rarest cards in the Pokemon Go TCG set

Based on early predictions, these are likely going to be the rarest cards in the Pokemon Go TCG set:

Name Card
Mewtwo V (Alternate Art) Mewtwo V Alternate Art card
Mewtwo VSTAR (Gold Secret Rare) Mewtwo VSTAR Gold Secret Rare card
Mewtwo VSTAR (Rainbow Rare) Mewtwo VSTAR Rainbow Rare card
Dragonite VSTAR (Rainbow Rare) Dragonite VSTAR Rainbow Rare card

The various Mewtwo cards are expected to be the rarest and most in-demand pulls from this set, especially the Secret Rare and Alternate Art versions. Dragonite VSTAR also looks set to be quite popular.

Having said that, it’s very likely that Radiant cards will end up being fan favorites too, especially Radiant Charizard. It’s too early to tell how rare they’ll be, but they could end up being the ones to find.

Is the Pokemon Go TCG set worth it?

Whether the Pokemon TCG: Pokemon Go expansion is worth it really depends on how much of an avid collector you are, and how much you’re willing to potentially spend to pull the cards you want from this set.

As this is a special subset rather than a main expansion, you can’t buy individual booster packs. The only way to get them is to purchase special products like the Elite Trainer Box or the Radiant Eevee Collection.

While these special products come with bonuses like pin badges or play mats, it also makes completing your set quite expensive, as these boxes usually work out more expensive than individual booster packs.

Still, there are some really nice cards to find in the Pokemon TCG: Pokemon Go set, and because they’re so unique, they’ll likely become quite desirable in the future. Ultimately, it’s up to you to decide if it’s worth it!
