The Disney Plus series Just Beyond was great for young horror fans, and one particular “movie” is making the rounds again after Trevor Larkin scenes went viral.

If you were a Goosebumps kid, you’ll probably have come across Just Beyond, the Disney Plus series inspired by R.L. Stine’s creepy works.

Based on his series of graphic novels, the 2021 series ran for only eight episodes before being scrapped from the platform during the Disney-Hulu purge last year.

The anthology series tackled a different Stine story each episode, with a rotating cast and new characters being brought in at every turn. Although it was removed from the streaming service, the show has now found new life on social media, with one particular episode capturing everyone’s attention.

Just Beyond Episode 7, ‘Standing Up For Yourself’, has gone viral after scenes from the episode started circulating TikTok.

The story has gone on to become one of the most popular installments of the short-lived series. It’s also attracted a whole new wave of fans, with many asking what “movie” the scenes are from. The episode synopsis is as follows:

“The idyllic town of Larkinville is tormented by 13-year-old Trevor Larkin, a bully with a menacing scar and massive build. Trevor is particularly pumped when a new student, aka an ideal target, arrives to school.

“Fourteen-year-old Evan Burger wears glasses, hand-me-down clothing and a prosthetic leg that makes him walk with a slight limp. But appearances can be deceiving and when Evan stands up for himself, Trevor’s actions will change his life — and Larkinville — forever.”

How to watch Just Beyond’s Trevor Larkin episode

Unfortunately, since Just Beyond was removed from Disney Plus following the merge with Hulu, the series isn’t currently on any streaming services.

This isn’t great news for those who are looking to check out the rest of the show after discovering it on TikTok.

Of course, you can always piece together the episode scene-by-scene on TikTok. Alternatively, there are always YouTube explainer videos that breakdown the episodes, such as this one. Yes, there’s narration running through, but it’s the best that can be done until the series comes back to streaming.

Right now, there’s no word on whether Disney and Hulu are bringing the show back to the platform. However, if the audience grows and demand is clear, there’s no reason for them not to consider it.
