Jujutsu Kaisen’s brutality knows no bounds, as Chapter 240 spoilers hint at the death of another character – and a fan-favorite one at that.

Jujutsu Kaisen manga has currently sidelined the battle against the strongest as the focus shifts to another primary antagonist, Kenjaku. In the recent chapter, we see the villain finally putting his plans into motion as he begins to eradicate all the Culling Game players.

He starts with a new character and then moves on to Iori Hazenoki. Suddenly, Takaba arrives at the scene all alone, ready to take on the ancient curse user. However, the comedian turned sorcerer cannot be underestimated.

His unusual ability even flabbergasted the ancient curse user, who has been alive for over 1,000 years. Kenjaku reveals that he had never experienced anything like that. However, as we move on to Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 240, the spoilers hint at another character’s death. Warning: this article contains spoilers from the upcoming Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 240.

Which character is close to death in Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 240?

A Jujutsu Kaisen manga panel featuring Fumihiko Takaba

According to Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 240 spoilers, Fumihiko Takaba is facing difficulty defeating the ancient curse user. Takaba has the power to alter reality by thinking of something funny. The series had once revealed that his technique was powerful enough to rival Satoru Gojo.

Fans were pinning all their hopes on this character as the weight of the rests on his shoulders. While all the sorcerers are busy dealing with Sukuna, someone must finish off the ancient curse user. Hence, the task goes to Takaba, who single-handedly takes on such a horrifying opponent.

Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 240 spoilers feature the fight between Kenjaku and Takaba. The battle was hilarious, to say the least. However, it soon takes a dark turn as Kenjaku figures out Takaba’s weakness and begins to launch powerful attacks toward him.

Apparently, Takaba’s ability is strong as long as he has confidence in his ability. Kenjaku uses his wits to deal with the comedian after realizing he cannot defeat him with strength alone. As the chapter draws near its end, Takaba loses all his confidence as he is devastated over seeing Iori Hazenoki’s corpse.

Kenjaku, being the villain he is, gloats over his situation and asks him to laugh since he’s a comedian. Takaba begins to question his reason for being a comedian. Although the fight doesn’t end in Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 240, the situation doesn’t bode well for Takaba. Jujutsu Kaisen is popular for killing off characters, so there’s a possibility that Takaba might be the next victim of Gege Akutami’s brutal storytelling.

Kenjaku is one of the two main villains in the series, and the fight between him and Yuta is already hinted at. While there’s a slight possibility that Takaba may come out unscathed from the battle, the one to defeat Kenjaku will likely be one of the main characters.
