Jake Paul claims he has been “injured” just days ahead of his boxing return against Ryan Bourland on March 2.

Influencer-turned-boxer Jake Paul has made a huge name for himself in the world of combat sports with wins over former UFC icons such as Anderson Silva, Nate Diaz and even a KO on Tyron Woodley.

On March 2, Jake Paul is set to return to the ring and improve on his record having just recently knocked out Andre August to improve to 8-1, but there may be a new wrench thrown into the equation.

According to ‘The Problem Child,’ he suffered an injury leading up to the match and it could hurt Paul’s chances at eventually competing for a world title.

Jake Paul reveals he’s “injured” ahead of boxing return

In a new YouTube video documenting Paul’s training camp in Puerto Rico, Paul revealed that he’s going into the fight injured.

“Jake Paul gets injured before Puerto Rico fight with Amanda Serrano and Ryan Bourland on March 2nd,” the description reads.

Although the extent of the injury isn’t known, Bourland holds an impressive 17-2 professional record, so Paul will have quite the uphill battle this Saturday.

Nonetheless, Jake is committed to seeing the fight through. “Doubt me all you want. This is my destiny and I will fulfill it,” he said on X following news of his injury.

This bout could end up also being his last boxing match for a bit as the influencer looks to make his mark in MMA with his PFL debut scheduled for later this year with no shortage of opponents lined up to face him.
