Jake Paul claims that his next opponent is a pro boxer with an “even better record” than Andre August — but we still don’t know who it is.

Jake Paul is one of the most prolific influencer-boxers on the net, boasting an 8-1 professional record after getting his start on the undercard of Logan Paul vs KSI in 2018.

Now, he’s arguably the face of the influencer-boxing movement and is on a mission to become a world champion, one fight at a time.

In December 2023, Paul faced off against professional boxer Andre August, knocking him out in the very first round. This explosive victory came on the heels of another big win for Jake against UFC star Nate Diaz in the summer.

Jake Paul’s next big match will feature the debut of MVP’s Javon ‘Wanna’ Walton, left.

Shortly after his win over August, Paul announced the date of his next bout — but never announced his opponent. Now, we’ve got a few more clues as to what kind of rival he’ll face off with, next.

Jake Paul to announce next boxing opponent on January 30

On January 18, 2024, Paul appeared at the press conference for his undercard match on Serrano vs Meinke, which is slated to take place on March 2 in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

After combat sports journalist Ariel Helwani noted that his opponent wasn’t present, Jake claimed that his rival didn’t want to show up because he “just wanted to train” — something that Jake said he “respects.”

According to Jake, his next opponent is a “professional boxer with an even better record than Andre August” who has “won regional titles.”

That’s not all; Jake will make an official announcement revealing his rival on January 30, saying the upcoming fight is “another step up in competition” for him.

For now, it’s still unclear who Jake will be touching gloves with come March 2, but it’s clear that he’s willing to up the ante in his quest for world domination.
