Best Striker 9 Warzone loadout: Class setup, attachments, Perks

The Striker 9 is an exceptional SMG and one that’ll work wonders in Warzone, as it’s now become one of Season 3’s standouts.

While a little underwhelming compared to the assault rifles from MW3, the SMG class does have a few standouts. Fans have flocked to the Rival-9 and AMR 9, yet it’s the Striker 9 that grew in popularity after numerous buffs.

Described by Sledgehammer Games as a “compact SMG that handles like a carbine,” the Striker 9 handles just like that at all ranges. Granted, you don’t want to be caught in the open with an SMG, but the following build may help you feel bold in your lobbies.

Here are all the details you need to know on the best Striker 9 loadout in Warzone.

Best Striker 9 Warzone loadout

  • Muzzle: ZEHMN35 Compensated Flash Hider
  • Barrel: Striker Recon Elite Long
  • Rear Grip: Sakin ZX Grip
  • Magazine: 50 Round Drum
  • Underbarrel: XRK Edge BW-4 Handstop

The ZEHMN35 Compensated Flash Hider is arguably one of the best attachments in the game, as it shortens radar pings, and boosts important attributes like vertical and horizontal recoil. It also gives a notable boost to firing aim stability, perfect for unloading full magazines on enemy players.

Meanwhile, the Stirker Recon Long Barrel greatly improves bullet velocity and range, perfect for mid-range engagements.

Since it’s an SMG, the Striker 9 does deal with an increased amount of recoil, however, the Sakin ZX Grip will help keep the gun’s recoil down. On the other hand, the XRK Edge BW-4 Handstop will help boost your movement speeds, keeping you mobile at all times.

Finally, the default mag leaves room to be desired, and that’s where 50 Round Drum comes in.

Striker 9 Warzone Loadout: Perks and Equipment

  • Perk Slot 1: Double Time
    • Increases Tactical Sprint duration and reduces refresh time
  • Perk 2: Battle Hardened
    • Reduce the effect of enemy Flash, Stun, EMP, Gas Grenades, and Frangible effects. Immune to Snapshot Grenades, Guardian Killstreaks, and Shock Sticks.
  • Perk 3: Tracker
    • Enemies leave behind a footprint trail and enemy death markers are visible. Kill markers are hidden from enemy teams.
  • Perk Slot 4: High Alert
    • Vision pulses when spotted by an enemy player outside of view. Also triggered by enemies controlling Chopper Gunners, Wheelsons, IAVs, and APCs.
  • Lethal: Throwing Knife
  • Tactical: Smoke Grenade

If you’re in close-range engagements, Battle Hardened will help negate enemy tactical equipment. Pair that with Double Time and Tracker — the former increases Tac Sprint duration while the latter reveals enemy footsteps — and you’ll be an absolute menace to deal with in close encounters. Finally, High Alert works well to reveal watchful opposition in the case of third-party situations.

The lethal and tactical slots are up to personal preference, but a Throwing Knife and Smoke Grenade are great options for finishing off squads and getting in and out of trouble.

How to unlock the Striker 9 in Warzone

Unlocking the Striker 9 requires you to complete the Armory unlock challenge for it. Once you hit level 25, you can complete daily challenges to unlock the SMG. The other option, and possibly less painful, is to play Zombies and extract with the Striker 9.
