Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Multiplayer Set to be Playable at the $200,000 CWL Anaheim Open

It has been announced that Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 will be playable for those that attend the upcoming $200,000 CWL Anaheim Open in Anaheim, California.

As one of the largest events each year, the annual CWL Anaheim Open has become a staple of the Call of Duty esports community, and is one of the most attended LAN tournaments for teams, spectators, and general members of the community.

Over 160 of the best teams in the world will battle it out at the Anaheim Convention Center for their share of a $200,000 prize pool, along with a slew of pro points on the line.

However, those attending Anaheim in 2018 are in store for a treat, with the official Call of Duty Twitter account announcing on June 1st that those in attendance will be able to play Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 multiplayer for the first time.

Since the ‘Community Reveal Event’ in mid-May where Treyarch revealed new information on the game for the first time including multiplayer aspects, the all-new ‘Battle Royale’ mode, and more, community members have been in a frenzy to learn more about the upcoming release.

It appears that Black Ops 4 will be playable at the PlayStation booth throughout CWL Anaheim, however, more information has yet to be provided.

CWL Anaheim is scheduled to take place between Friday, June 17th and Sunday, June 17th, with more information the annual tournament able to be found right here.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 will release worldwide on Friday, October 12th.
