A kilt-wearing Texas man has been charged after getting caught visiting a Houston antique store and putting items up his butt and then back on shelves.

If you’ve visited an antiques store in Houston recently, you may want to double-check your purchase for any marks.

60-year-old Mitchell Vest was arrested on February 15 after he was caught putting items for sale at The Antique Gallery of Houston where the sun doesn’t shine.

According to FOX, the store manager reviewed security footage from an antique dealer showing Vest picking up items including kitchen utensils, a makeup brush, and a bottle opener up his anus and then back where he found them.

Harris County Constable Precinct 4 Office also said they received “multiple” reports about the man and swooped in to make an arrest.

Law & Crime reports that the Complainants in the case were advised the items, valued at just over $200, be thrown out because they had feces on them.

“Due to the loss of multiple antique items that had to be disposed, Constable Deputies obtained a warrant for his arrest for the offense of criminal mischief,” the Constable’s office said.

“Both provided the video surveillance of the incidents, and both wished to pursue charges,” the affidavit stated.

Amazingly, the man was freed on a $100 bond after being arrested and charged with the offense of criminal mischief.

Antiques Gallery manager Susan Golden was absolutely baffled by what she witnessed. “I was just really in shock,” she said. “I just didn’t really know what to say or think.”

This isn’t the first time someone has made headlines for sticking items up their bum. Last year, a Redditor was banned after shoving an energy drink popsicle into their anus.
