Losing your job is never easy. There’s a choice to walk away with your head held high or make a scene as you exit.

Unfortunately for one woman, after getting fired from her coffee shop job, she couldn’t resist the urge to put up a fight, literally.

In a video now gone viral, the woman was thrown to the ground by the manager after he refused to give back her belongings.

Woman jumps counter after being slammed to the ground

A coffee shop in the middle of the airport turned into the scene of a brutal physical altercation after an unknown woman put up a fight with the manager who fired her.

Before leaving, the woman called out multiple times, “I need my stuff! Give me my stuff!” She then tried to push her way through to the back where her belongings were.

However, her manager pushed back, and then some. Not only did he shove the woman, but he also threw her to the ground with excessive force.

The woman wasn’t letting up, though. She punched, slapped, and grabbed items from the store and attempted to hit the manager with them.

Eventually, she was able to jump over the counter and get to the back where her jacket was. Though she put up quite a fight, was it fair for the manager to use physical violence? Viewers of the viral story think not.

After seeing a video of the altercation posted to Twitter/X, viewers commented, “So instead of giving up her bag they opted to throw a woman around the store… got it smh.”

And, “You see how she got her sh*t and left once she had it? I’m sure all that could’ve been avoided if they just gave it up to begin with.”

Though the manager did threaten to have the police involved, the authorities did not show up before the woman retrieved her things and left.
