GTA Online Summer update 2024: Bail Enforcement, bonus car, Vincent quest & more

Rockstar Games has announced some of what is coming to GTA Online in the 2024 Summer update along with what GTA+ members should expect in the months ahead.

Rockstar Games released an announcement on April 2 teasing its big GTA Online Summer update for 2024. The new update will bring a lot of new goodies and amenities to GTA+ members.

Furthermore, an announcement on June 5 revealed a broader plan to include a new business, a side-quest for Vincent, and several creator and experience updates.

GTA Online Summer 2024 update: Bail Enforcement & Bounty Hunting

With the summer update for GTA V Online, players will be able to open and operate a Bail Enforcement and Bounty Hunting Business to help you clean up the roving reprobates of Southern San Andreas.

While an image of the new outfits was also revealed that will help you run this business in disguise, how it works is still under wraps by Rockstar.

GTA Online Summer 2024 update: New Vincent Side Quest

The summer update will also bring a new side quest for you to begin with Vincent who now needs some help enforcing his authority without official oversight in Los Santos.

This requires you to get behind the wheel of your souped-up Cruiser and conduct a range of off-the-books enforcement activities across town.

GTA Online Summer 2024 update: Creator upgrades

While GTA Online also allows creatures to build tracks in GTA Online using a suite of tools, the summer update will expand on the custom Drift Race tracks and Drag Race circuits, with new units in all tracks. This includes drivers doing donuts in their cars and bouncing lowriders, crowd animations and much more.

Furthermore creators will be able to launch tests from any chosen checkpoint and also have the option to race multiple rounds in Drag Races before a winner is declared, alongside a range of new improvements designed to help the community create and share their amazing Races, Deathmatches, and more.

GTA Online Summer 2024 update: Experience updates

Rockstar will be making several fixes to the game, based on player requests and feedback. These include an increased Sell Mission timer to make it easier for solo players taking on Biker and Gunrunning sales, snacks automatically replenishing when launching most missions, buffing defensive and armor capabilities for the Sparrow and Bombushka, and more.

As Rockstar continues to monitor and balance payouts to ensure all mission types are fun and rewarding, players taking part in Open Wheel Races, Taxi Work, and many Contact Missions will have a larger base payout.

GTA Online Summer 2024 update: Vehicle workshop

In the summer update, GTA+ members should expect more to come to The Vinewood Club. According to the announcement, a new Vehicle Workshop will be added to the club’s garage along with a new app for player’s in-game phones.

The app will make access to the club’s advantage even easier.

GTA Online Summer 2024 update: Bonus Super Car

Players with a GTA+ membership on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S will have an opportunity to get a new bonus supercar in the summer update called Överflöd Pipistrello (Super) for free as part of their Member benefits on the day the update launches.

GTA Online Summer 2024: Bonus GTA cash

From April through August, players with GTA+ memberships will get $1,000,000 in bonus GTA cash every month.

This bonus cash will be given alongside member’s regular $500,000 and go directly into their Maze Bank account in the game.
