Here is every LEGO Harry Potter set retiring in 2024 and where you can buy each of them before they are discontinued. 

Recently, LEGO released a range of new LEGO Harry Potter sets, ranging from the must-have LEGO Harry Potter Talking Sorting Hat to a box-fresh LEGO version of the Weasleys’ flying Ford Anglia. However, to paraphrase the age-old adage — “In with the new, out with the old.” Indeed, with the introduction of new kits comes the retirement of older models. 

We’ve rounded up every LEGO Harry Potter set retiring in 2024 and where you can buy each of them. Here’s what you can expect.

With this set, Potterheads from as young as eight years old can immerse themselves into the experience of visiting Hogsmeade Village. Before visiting, they’ll first have to build the LEGO recreation, though. However, comprising 851 pieces, the building experience will be equally immersive. 

In addition, when each brick has been clicked together, the completed build will make for a great display piece among not only your other LEGO Harry Potter sets for kids, but also those designed for adult Potterheads. The model measures eight-and-a-half inches tall, 11.5 inches wide, and three-and-a-half inches deep.

A LEGO brick-built version of one of the iconic segments of Hogwarts Castle, this kit is a must-have for Harry Potter fans aged nine and up who want to zoom into the rooms of the School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. 

With this set, young Potterheads can explore an array of rooms and relive movie scenes with each of the eight minifigures included with this kit. Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, Ron Weasley, Luna Lovegood, Neville Longbottom, Draco Malfoy, Horace Slughorn, and Lavender Brown are all present. Comprising the third-most bricks of any LEGO Harry Potter set you can currently buy, this brick-built recreation of the Hogwarts Express is hands down one of the best LEGO Harry Potter Collectors’ Edition sets. It’s a must-have for Potterheads, with this kit promising to provide a rewarding building and imaginative playing experience. It will also look spectacular on display. 

This 1:32-scale model of the Wizarding World’s iconic train measures 46.5 inches long. It is 10.5 inches tall, and eight inches wide. As such, you’ll have to make some space next to your collection of Harry Potter memorabilia. However, as a result of its sheer size, this set can incorporate an array of authentic design elements and neat details.

The LEGO-reimagined Chamber of Secrets is one of the best LEGO Harry Potter sets for kids. However, adult Potterheads will enjoy the building and, when they have some time on their hands, playing experience just as much. 

The brick-built version of the Chamber of Secrets features several neat elements, such as a slide (for when you dare to enter the eerie chamber) and a secret corridor, which, when opened, reveals a buildable Basilisk snake. In addition, there are several detailed rooms sited above. The bathroom entrance is missing, though.

There’s no doubt that this LEGO Harry Potter set is fun, with each of its 834 bricks clicking together to provide Potterheads with an enjoyable building and, most notable, playing experience. This magical kit comprises not only the Weasley’s joke shop, but also an Owl Post, the latter of which features a mail-drop function.

A Room of Requirement that’s much more easily found than the one from the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, the LEGO version is sure to spark the imaginations of Potterheads, no matter how old they are. 

This LEGO Harry Potter kit is brimming with neat items, ranging from a buildable record player to a diadem element and, most notably, a Fiendfyre figure which can be rebuilt into a fire serpent. All of these items, including the five minifigures, will allow you to recreate the memorable scene from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2. A LEGO figure of a Cornish Pixie is also present. 

The completed build measures 15 inches tall, six-and-a-half inches wide, and two-and-a-half inches deep. It is sure to look great when incorporated into your other LEGO Hogwarts sets.

Although comprising only 165 pieces, this set will look great on display, whether it’s in your collection of Harry Potter memorabilia or even among your LEGO Speed Champions models. In addition, the brick-built Anglia features a removable roof, which makes it easy to place the minifigures of Harry and Ron inside, and an opening trunk.
