Fans start queue for Taylor Swift concert 4 months in advance

A group of four Taylor Swift fans have come under fire by the fandom after starting to queue for the concert in Stockholm, Sweden four months in advance.

Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour is the biggest entertainment attraction happening right now. According to The Washington Post, she could take home as much as $4.1 billion when all is said and done.

The star is currently getting ready to start the second year of the Eras Tour, which will begin in Tokyo, Japan on February 7, before moving on to Australia and Singapore. It will then move over to Europe in May, with the first concerts being in Nanterre, France, and Stockholm, Sweden.

But a group of four concert-goers has caused outrage and panic in the fandom, at least for Swifties going to one of the three concerts in Stockholm, as they started to queue for the event four months in advance.

In a video published to TikTok on January 21 by user @moaaxelssn, the group of friends are seen arriving at Friends Arena in Stockholm where Taylor is due to have three concerts on May 17-19, 2024.

They then sit down outside one of the entrances which has been cleared of snow and start to queue for the concert. They wrote: “just started the line for taylor in Stockholm!!! come get ur numbers!!!!”

Other fans were not happy with the news and were quick to panic that they wouldn’t be able to join the queue anytime soon.

One person wrote: “i don’t even live in Stockholm, but i have a ticket, don’t do this to me.”

Another person said: “WHAT… I don’t live in Sweden but I’m going May 17th.”

“Oh no i’m getting there the day of the show,” a third user wrote.

However, not everyone believed it was real and claimed it must be a joke.

“I’m glad it’s a joke cause I would be so worried since it looks so cold,” one user wrote.

This is not the first time fans have been queuing for months to see the Karma singer. As the South American leg of the Eras tour was announced, some fans spent five months sleeping in tents outside of the arena in Argentina just to be first in line.

The organizers clarified to the waiting fans that they were free to do as they pleased; in other words, they could move away from their tents, but they had to spend at least one night inside the tent once a month (which later turned into once a week, and now, in the days leading up to the big event, every night).

The Eras tour began in March 2023 and continues through until December 2024.
