Here’s what Pokemon Go players can expect from the Dazzling Dream Timed Research challenge and how to complete it.

The Pokemon Go Dazzling Dream event will kick off on January 13 and will focus on several different Fairy types, including Cutiefly. Cutiefly will be making its Shiny debut in Pokemon Go.

Additionally, Niantic has added a special Timed Research that can be purchased and completed during the event.

Here’s a look at the tasks and rewards for the Dazzling Dream Timed Research.

Catch 20 Fairy-type Pokemon – Cutiefly encounter
Spin 20 PokeStops or Gyms – Swirlix encounter
Earn 3,000 Stardust – Spritzee encounter
Hatch an Egg – Carbink encounter

Rewards: 3,000 XP, 1x Star Piece, 2x Premium Battle Pass

Earn 2,000 Stardust – Cutiefly encounter
Earn 3,000 Stardust – Swirlix encounter
Earn 4,000 Stardust – Spritzee encounter
Earn 5,000 Stardust – Cutiefly encounter
Earn 6,000 Stardust – Swirlix encounter
Earn 7,000 Stardust – Spritzee encounter
Earn 8,000 Stardust – Cutiefly encounter
Earn 9,000 Stardust – Swirlix encounter
Earn 10,000 Stardust – Spritzee encounter

Rewards: 6,000 XP, 1x Star Piece, Carbink encounter

We should note that Fairy-types like Cutiefly, Spritzee, and Jigglypuff will appear more frequently during the Dazzling Dream event. And, it should also be noted that Go players can get one of the more powerful Pokemon in the meta in Carbink through this Timed Research.

This Timed Research costs $2 or equivalency in one’s country.

The tasks and rewards for the Pokemon Go Dazzling Dream Timed Research must be claimed by January 16 at 8 pm local time.
