Pokemon Go January 2024 Eggs-pedition Access: Timed Research tasks & rewards

Pokemon Go’s January 2024 Eggs-pedition ticket offers trainers the chance to take on a Timed Research for some handy rewards like XP, Stardust, and a special Pokemon encounter. Here’s the full list of this month’s tasks.

On November 30, 2023, Niantic announced that Pokemon Go would receive a new type of event every month throughout the Timeless Travels season.

This new event would be called Eggs-edition Access and is a paid event that gives trainers bonus Pokemon encounters, extra experience, and more.

Following its introduction in December 2023, January 2024’s Eggs-pedition Access also comes with a Timed Research quest, which awards players plenty of Stardust, XP, and a bonus encounter. Here’s everything trainers need to know about the Eggs-pedition Access Timed Research for January 2024.

January 2024 Eggs-pedition Access: Start time & date

Pokemon Go’s January 2024 Eggs-pedition Access is a paid, ticketed event that trainers can purchase beginning on January 1, 2024, and will be available to purchase until January 29, 2024, at 8 PM local time.

The ticket will cost $5.00 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency), and trainers will have until January 31, 2024, at 8 PM local time to complete and claim their rewards for the month.

January 2024 Eggs-pedition Access bonuses

Trainers will also receive bonuses by purchasing the Eggs-pedition Access ticket.

The following bonuses will be available every day from when the ticket is purchased to Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at 8 PM local time:

• 1 single-use Incubator awarded for your first spin of the day
• 3x XP awarded for your first catch of the day
• 3x XP awarded for your first spin of the day
• Open up to 50 Gifts per day
• Send up to 150 Gifts per day
• Hold up to 40 Gifts in your Item Bag

• Catch 30 Pokemon – 2500 XP
• Catch 15 different species of Pokemon – 2500 XP
• Transfer 20 Pokemon – 2500 XP

Rewards: 2500 XP

Step 2 of 4

• Use 25 Berries to help catch Pokemon – 2500 Stardust
• Send 5 Gifts to friends – 2500 Stardust
• Hatch 3 Eggs – 2500 Stardust

Rewards: 2500 Stardust

Step 3 of 4

• Earn 25 Hearts with your buddy – 5000 XP
• Open 5 Gifts – 5000 XP
• Catch 20 Water-type or Flying-type Pokemon – 5000 XP

Rewards: 5000 XP

Step 4 of 4

• Make 30 Curveball Throws – 5000 Stardust
• Explore 5 km – 5000 Stardust
• Evolve 10 Pokemon – 5000 Stardust
