The Real Housewives of New York City star Luann de Lesseps performed on a talk show, and fans thought it sounded like she was lip syncing.

Luann de Lesseps from The Real Housewives of New York City is embracing her career as a cabaret star by performing live concerts in various cities around the country.

The Countess recently appeared on the Real Housewives of Ultimate Girls Trip: RHONY Legacy, which aired on Peacock in December.

Luann and her fellow RHONY alums Ramona Singer, Dorinda Medley, Sonja Morgan, Kelly Bensimon, and Kristen Taekman traveled to St. Barts to relive their iconic moments on the show.

This summer, the Bravo star returned to the network with Sonja in the spinoff, Luann and Sonja: Welcome To Crappie Lake.

Real Housewives fans slam Luann for using autotune

Luann promoted the upcoming shows on her cabaret tour on February 1 with an interview and performance on the Tamron Hall Show.

The cabaret star sang her popular song, “Money Can’t Buy You Class,” and fans accused her of lip syncing in the comments of the video.

“Majority of this audio is from the studio version from like a decade ago,” one fan noticed while watching the performance.

“Even with all of that electronic augmentation, it sounds pretty bad,” another fan chimed in.

“I really like Luann as a person, but how are you singing out of tune with auto tune? Her performance was awful,” a third fan wrote.

Although some Real Housewives fans have jumped at the chance to see Luann perform live and buy tickets to her shows, others are mocking her talent.

Luann loves singing for an audience, as cabaret helped her through a difficult time during her divorce and arrest in 2017.

Despite the negative comments from fans, Luann continues to add more cabaret shows to her list and changes up the setlist occasionally to keep it fresh.
