A 31-year-old man with a “face full of tattoos” has been taunting Toronto police on his TikTok despite being on the run as part of a Canadian-wide manhunt for his arrest.

It has been reported that 31-year-old Michael Stamatakos is a wanted man by Canadian authorities after he has breached his statutory release for the second time in just eight months.

Toronto police issued a further official statement on October 18, as they have tried to narrow their search, announcing that a man with a “face full of tattoos” has been known to frequent the area.

However, Stamatakos doesn’t seem to be phased. He has instead been seen taunting police officials on his TikTok in an array of bizarre videos.

In response to various reports of his own warrant, Stamatakos has been seen mocking law enforcement and their attempts to catch him.

He has posted various videos to his TikTok, with one showing him wearing sunglasses, a bucket hat, and his highly recognizable tattoos all over his face.

His most viral video used the audio of another TikToker who commented on the situation. “You’re telling me this man right here with every single tattoo on his face is escaping the authorities,” they could be heard saying.

As the clip plays out, he is shown looking forward and smiling with a Toronto news report of his warrant for arrest being shown in the background.

The 31-year-old man has since posted further clips taunting authorities, where his official account ultimately got taken down. However, this hasn’t stopped reposted clips going viral across TikTok.

According to the Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (ROPE) Squad, Stamatakos and another man were arrested in November 2020 after threatening the owner of a trailer home they lived in. They then set fire to the trailer and took off in a vehicle before later being detained by authorities.

His sentence has been stated to be a two-year sentence for arson, making death threats, possession of a Schedule 1 substance, dangerous driving, and trying to escape from police.

At the time of writing, there have been no further updates in regard to his arrest, and is believed to be still on the run from Canadian law enforcement.
