Jujutsu Kaisen Kenjaku

The fight between Kenjaku and Takaba in the upcoming Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 240 soon becomes hilarious, but fans have no reason to complain about it. Here’s everything you need to know about it.

As Jujutsu Kaisen manga sidelines the battle against the strongest, it shifts the spotlight to Kenjaku and Takaba. While the sorcerers are busy dealing with Sukuna, the ancient curse user is also putting his plan into motion. He is eliminating all the Culling Game players and using a Binding Vow to merge Master Tengen with the Japanese population.

The only one strong enough to stand against him is Fumihiko Takaba. Kenjaku, who has been alive for over 1,000 years by shifting bodies, has seen all kinds of techniques and abilities. However, he is still flabbergasted as he sees Takaba somehow reject the damage his attack did.

As hinted in Chapter 239, their fight will continue in the upcoming chapter as well. As spoilers and leaks circulate on Twitter/X, fans can’t help but be amused with Kenjaku’s unexpected humor in Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 240. Warning: this article contains minor spoilers from the upcoming chapter!

Jujutsu Kaisen fans react to Kenjaku’s humor in Chapter 240

Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 240 spoilers

Jujutsu Kaisen’s primary antagonists are Sukuna and Kenjaku. If Sukuna is the series’ strongest character, then Kenjaku is undoubtedly the most genius. The ancient curse user has been alive for over 1,000 years with the help of his innate technique. Kenjaku can forever remember the cursed techniques of those he possessed, so he has an unknown number of powerful techniques at his disposal.

For several centuries, he has been plotting and committing evil deeds but never once paid the price for them. Ever since the beginning of the series, things always go in the same direction he wants to. There’s no doubt that he is as evil as they come.

However, surprisingly enough, the upcoming chapter features a hilarious side of him as he fights Takaba. Amid the fight, Takaba believes that Kenjaku has “make me laugh” written all over his face. Hence, while attempting to make the villain laugh, the two briefly compete to figure out who’s funnier.

Kenkau is merely toying with Takaba as he attempts to decrease his confidence and render his innate technique useless. As such, although the fight is supposed to be very crucial in Jujutsu Kaisen, we see Kenjaku make some of the funniest faces ever.
