Haraki tells Chihiro how he absorbed Sojo’s lightning to save his life. He then urges Chihiro to slice off his enemies with the blade so that they can buy some time and get Shinuchi. However, Hiyuki didn’t take much time to learn what Chihiro and Haruki were up to. So, Hiyuki decides to go beyond her limit to stop the duo. Hiyuki tries to convince Chihiro one last time to hand over the mighty blade to them.

Chihiro gets confused, and that’s when he recalls his father’s words: “Always protect the weak and defeat the evil.” So, he instantly activates Nichiki and escapes from the location, but Hiyuki follows him with the help of Flame Bone’s ribs.

Hiyuki realizes that it would not be easy to catch up with the speed of Chihiro. Our protagonist then sees an opening in the Kamunabi sorcerer’s defense, and when he heads toward it, we see Hiyuki’s sinister smile. When Chihiro tries to attack Hiyuki, she catches his sword, but she finds it different from the sacred Katana. While the hero tries to use the enchanted blade to attack Hiyuki, she dodges it immediately.
