Witnessing the opponents taking the lead, Mash is demotivated, so he does not show any interest in the game. He makes up his mind when Tom Noels approaches him and gives him the courage to fight. While he motivates Mash, the opponent team plays a dirty trick and makes Tom fall to the ground.
Despite getting the injuries, Tom continues to encourage Mash. He asks Mash to focus on the game and give his best.
