One Punch Man Season 3 reveals new animation studio in epic teaser
MAPPAMAPPA was believed to be the studio behind One Punch Man Season 3, but the latest teaser says otherwise – so here’s what you need to know.
The wait is finally over for One Punch Man fans who have been waiting for any updates about Season 3. The lack of news was quite worrying since the previous season was released back in 2019. The franchise announced its third anime season in August 2022, along with a key visual by character designer Chikashi Kubota.
The series made its anime debut in 2015 by studio Madhouse. The second season was created by studio J.C. Staff in 2019. The anime again changed studios for its third season, and this time, the studio was supposed to be MAPPA.
After almost five years of waiting, fans have the first decent information about it as the official website finally drops a special announcement teaser along with the name of the animation studio and staff.
One Punch Man Season 3 animation studio is not MAPPA
According to the latest teaser, J.C. Staff will be animating One Punch Man Season 3. The series composition will be done by Tomohiro Suzuki. Chikashi Kubota, Shinjiro Kuroda, and Ryosuke Shirakawa will be the character designers in the upcoming season.
Garou takes center stage in the trailer as the villain prepares to put his immense might to the test. So, if anyone could stop him, it’d be Saitama. The official website also shares the synopsis for One Punch Man Season 3: “Saitama is a man who started becoming a hero as a hobby. Through three years of special training, he has gained invincible power that can defeat any enemy with a single blow.

Does One Punch Man Season 3 have a release date?
