Baldur’s Gate 3’s latest update addresses a couple of issues while promising more bug fixes following the release of Patch 6.

Less than a week after Baldur’s Gate 3 received a major update with the release of Patch 6, developer Larian Studios has dropped a new Hotfix.

Hotfix 18 is pretty small, only making a couple of changes to the game. However, it’s what Larian promises in the patch notes that’s perhaps most significant – and a good sign for players.

Here’s everything that Baldur’s Gate 3 Hotfix 18 does.

What’s new in Baldur’s Gate 3 Hotfix 18?

Hotfix 18 itself makes a couple of important fixes to vendors, which should help players avoid confusion and crashes.

Beyond that, Larian says “We are continuing to work on fixes for other reported issues with Patch 6,” acknowledging the issues players have encountered since the patch was released last week.

While Patch 6 has widely been praised for its new kiss animations and quality-of-life improvements, such as the option to swap out party members without running back and forth around Camp, players have reported significant issues following the update.

This isn’t a complete surprise, as past Patches have also introduced new bugs. That we’re getting a Hotfix already – along with a promise for further bug fixes – is a good sign that our Patch 6 issues could be sorted out relatively quickly.
