Baldur’s Gate 3 players love how “terrifying” Act 2 actually is

Baldur’s Gate 3 has multiple Acts and at least one of them will leave a mark on you due to the depth in the story. However, players have fallen in love with Act 2 on account of its terrifying horror vibes.

Baldur’s Gate 3 has an amazing story mode that takes hours to complete. You will often have to play the game multiple times to go through each and every story bit that this title has to offer. However, the stories as a whole are locked within Acts.

Act 2 of Baldur’s Gate 3 has quite a bit of horror content as the game takes you to the Shadow Cursed Lands. As it happens, players are quite happy with this as they have fallen in love with how terrifying this section is.

The discussion surrounding the topic was initiated by a player who mentioned that, “After playing Alien Isolation I didn’t think another game would creep me out that much.”This Reddit user felt the entire section where the player has to play hide and seek with Oliver was quite terrifying and they loved it.

Other users joined in the conversation as well since a lot of them have similar ideas. One such user mentioned, “Act 2 is such a treasure for horror vibes throughout.” Another user chimed in, “That was like my first realization how depressing act 2 was going to be.”

One player also claimed, “Just read a note last night from a boy to his mom about being brave and not scared of the dark. That was…rough.” Finally, a player commented about the House of Healing claiming, “That place is the stuff of nightmares. I wish it wasn’t necessary to cure the shadowcurse, otherwise I’d skip it every time.”

Horror is an element that is quite hard to execute, but Baldur’s Gate 3 does so quite well in Act 2. It is safe to say that players in the community agree with this idea as well since almost everyone felt terrified and satisfied with the horror elements of this game.
