Baldur’s Gate 3 players are swooning after one fan used the game to ask his partner to be his Valentine in the most adorable way.

Romance is a heavy aspect of Baldur’s Gate 3, and players can’t get enough of the game’s companions and romance options. After all, with such a fleshed-out story and personalities, it’s hard not to fall in love with the adorable nature of Karlach or the flirtatious lines of Astation.

However, one player took the romance away from the companions and used the game to ask his real life partner to be his valentines – and it’s just absolutely adorable.

Sharing the adorable gesture on Reddit, one user revealed how their boyfriend chose to ask them to be his valentine.

In the image, they revealed how their “bf wouldn’t stop asking me to play and I loaded into this” revealing the ‘Be My Valentine?’ letters spelled out in camp, using weapons, and a healing potion for the question mark.

Naturally, fans adored this romantic sentiment, with many swooning over the boyfriend’s attention to detail and dedication.

“He’s a keeper” commented one user, with many others echoing their statement. Others labeled it as “adorable” and urged the poster to say yes, especially given how long it likely took to make.

Many fans spotted the adorable attention to detail, highlighting how they “love how the question mark is made up of healing potions in case you say no and he needs to heal his broken heart” although from the sounds of it, it doesn’t seem like they have to worry, as the poster likely said yes.

While many found the creation extremely cute, it’s clearly now set a few new standards that need to be met for Valentine’s Day: “Does anyone know how to recreate this? I absolutely need to do this for my boyfriend.”

Few things are as creative as a cute Valentine’s Day proposal, but you can hardly go wrong when incorporating Baldur’s Gate 3 into it.
