How to unlock classic Black Ops Zombies characters in Blackout – Dempsey, Nikolai, Richtofen, and Takeo

Albert Petrosyan

The newest update in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 on November 27 has enabled a few certain Zombies characters to be unlocked in the Blackout battle royale mode.

The characters Dempsey, Nikolai, Richtofen, and Takeo are now all able to be unlocked for permanent use in Blackout, but players will have to complete a mission in order to do so for each one.

Each unique character mission has a special item that players will have to find, after which they will need to complete a set of challenges. Once that is complete, the character will be available in the personalization menu of Blackout.

DEMPSEY:

For Dempsey, players will need to find the Juggernog Bottle, which is located inside the Nuketown Bunker, Mystery Box, or the ongoing Blightfather event.

200

Once acquiring the bottle, the player then needs to kill an enemy with any grenade and finish the match with the Juggernog Bottle in their inventory.

NIKOLAI:

The item for this mission is the Flying Helmet, which can be found in the graveyard by Asylum or the Blightfather event. The challenges for this mission are to place Top 3 in Squads, Top 4 in Duos, or Top 5 in Solos with the helmet in the inventory.

200

RICHTOFEN:

The Blood Vials are required for unlocking Richtofen, and they can be found by interacting with the Blood Fountain in Asylum or the Blightfather event.

200

Players will then need to either place Top 2 in Squads, Top 3 in Duos, or Top 5 in Solos with the vials in their inventory.

TAKEO:

For unlocking Takeo, players will need the Emperor’s Note, which is located on top of the Lighthouse or in the Asylum by interacting with a typewriter.

200

The challenges for this one are tricky, because players cannot use ANY equipment throughout the match, which includes Grenades, Barricades, Sensor Darts, etc…

In addition, there is a requirement to place Top 4 in Squads, Top 8 in Duos, or Top 15 in Solos with the Emperor’s Note in the inventory.
