Modern Warfare Season 2 Reloaded has come and the update brings with it some massive quality-of-life improvements and balance changes to the game. One of the more impactful changes targets the aim down sights animation.

The second season of content has hit MW3 and Warzone with Season 2 Reloaded. The massive update brings in new maps like Das Haus and new weapons like the Soulrender melee, along with more in-game cosmetics.

One of the biggest changes that players may find in the game is the animation for when they are aiming down their sights with a weapon.

This change is yet another way the developers have been improving the quality of the game for mouse and keyboard and console players that take long-ranged fights.

MW3 aim change should make players more accurate

According to the patch notes, when players aim down sights after the update their crosshair will now go straight to the center of their screen.

Previously, the reticle would ease into the center of the player’s screen. This would often disrupt people scoping in, causing their shots to be less accurate. Now the crosshair should snap right into the center of the screen without delay.

MW3 Zombies Season 2 Reloaded
MW3 Zombies also had new content added in the Season 2 Reloaded update.

This should help players who like to take on enemies at medium to long ranges, and also help sniper rifle users who need to be as accurate as possible.

Activision seems intent on improving the quality of player’s experience with the game, on top of balance changes. The developer also added filters for weapon attachments and fixed numerous bugs that have been plaguing the community.
