MW3 players slam “horrible” Top 250 Ranked Play camo
ActivisionMW3 players are railing against a gun camo that they can earn by placing in the Top 250 in Ranked Play.
MW3’s Ranked Play is designed to give players a more competitive place where they can grind out wins and levels against the best of the best.
Along with this, the game gives a good helping of rewards for those who achieve specific milestones in these games.
However, one of these rewards is a gun camo that the MW3 community is not happy with in the slightest.
MW3 players are slamming the game’s Top 250 gun camo
The criticisms were shared on the MW3 subreddit, where a fan made a post entitled: “Let’s talk about the Top 250 camo in MW3 Ranked Play.”
They go on to explain how there are a lot of rewards in Ranked Play that are nice and make sense, but the gun camo for being in the top 250 is terrible.
“This is the only object you really see in-game for yourself and it’s horrible,” the user wrote.
Many others in the community agree, with one user saying that camos in Ranked should be animated at the very least.
It seems that many MW3 players also feel that the rewards are just lacking for Ranked Play: “This is the only object you really see in-game for yourself and it’s horrible.”
One user suggests that the devs should bring back old Mastery camos from previous games, specifically from Advanced Warfare and WWII.
It’s being viewed as a reflection of the Ranked Mode itself, as one fan puts it: “A camo to reflect the ranked experience: boring and copied and pasted matchmaking system with heavy restrictions stunting originality.”
Ranked Play has come with its fair share of criticisms, and it seems that the rewards are not helping the situation.
