While controversial YouTuber Jake Paul and American rapper ‘Soulja Boy’ have been beefing across social media throughout early February, it looks like their spat is finally taking a serious turn.

Paul agreed to cough up a pretty penny to box the ‘Crank Dat’ rapper in an interview with TMZ on February 6, claiming that he would put up a whopping $20 million on their fight.

This amount was made in reference to his heated Instagram Live conversation with Soulja Boy on February 3, where the rapper stated that he would place $20 million on their proposed bout due to his record deal with label Warner/Chappell music.

However, Paul speculated that his potential opponent doesn’t have the cash in question, and feels that the artist is all talk, claiming that Soulja Boy has yet to get him in contact with his manager to schedule a fight.

Paul went on to state that he is “serious” about boxing Soulja Boy, claiming that it would be good for business, since “people would want to see him get knocked out.”

The YouTuber instigated beef with Soulja Boy in a Tweet on February 1, writing, “I wanna box Soulja Boy.”

Soulja Boy responded to the callout in kind, claiming that he would “knock [Paul] out.”

The two went on to bring their spat face-to-face in an Instagram Live call, where Soulja Boy implied that he would throw hands “on sight.”

While Soulja Boy has yet to officially respond to Paul’s interview, his Instagram post created shortly thereafter could act as a message to the YouTuber, which pictures the rapper flashing two middle fingers at the camera with the caption, “Middle finger to a hater I’m getting paper 🤷🏾‍♂️❗️”
