A McDonald’s customer was almost finished with her McFlurry when she noticed a large plastic bag at the bottom of it.

Ordering food to-go can be questionable, as there is always a possibility that someone could contaminate your order.

Unfortunately for one McDonald’s customer, that’s exactly what happened when she ordered a McDonald’s McFlurry.

When she finally realized what was in her ice cream cup, she was shocked — but was it on purpose?

Woman says she and her friend should “sue” McDonald’s

TikToker Kellie Ulmer and her friend went to their local McDonald’s and ordered their food to-go. As Ulmer’s friend got to the end of her Oreo McFlurry, she found what they referred to as a “literal trash bag.”

As she began pulling the clear plastic bag out of her cup, it seemingly never ended. Though the two friends laughed it off, they were rather appalled, mentioning at one point that they may “sue” McDonald’s.

Not only that, but the pair thought it was done on purpose, captioning their video, “It was so on purpose, like folded so small at the bottom. It’s a literal trash bag or something.” Ulmer then tagged the corporation, saying “Omg, help.”

Viewers of the viral TikTok helped both Ulmer and her friend solve the mystery of what could be at the bottom of the McFlurry, as former McDonald’s employees commented, “I used to work there. It’s the sleeve the cups come in.”

And, “I worked at McDonald’s. It’s the ice cream liquid bag.” However, most former McDonald’s employees seemed to think it was the “shake mix” bag.

Many people also commented saying how “unsettling” it was to see trash in someone’s food after they’ve already eaten most of it.

Though some did comment, hoping that the two friends went back to McDonald’s to complain, it is unknown if the pair were able to get their money back or a new McFlurry.
