Server hates children ordering

A server went viral on TikTok when they complained about customers who allowed their children to order for themselves.

TikToker Karl gained over 468,000 views after she uploaded a clip on the platform. She relays an interaction she had with customers, and the text overlay reads “POV: your section is full and the family of 8 insists that their 4 year old orders for themselves.”

In order to mock the whole scenario, Karl plays the ‘have you ever had a dream,’ theme, which gives viewers the picture.

“Does my forehead soaked in sweat and my gittery demeanor tell you that this is a good time for a teaching moment?” she asks in the caption.

People weigh in on children ordering meals

After the video was posted on the platform, it seemed that many customers shared similar sentiments to Karl.

“While I’m looking over at my two other tables that just got sat at the same time,” one wrote, followed by a crying emoji.

“Or when they give options like ‘do you want sprite, lemonade sweetheart’ and the kid won’t look up from their tablet and the parents have to ask 4 more times for them to say they want chocolate milk,” another wrote.

“I like looking around my section and tapping my pen so their mom finally just says chicken fingers lmao.”

However, one commenter said that it wasn’t just children that were the issue, writing: “Or the old couple that force you to stand there so they can read the menu and ask you a million questions even though they go there everyday.”

Another TikToker went viral after they called out workers at the Sugar Factory for adding an automatic tip to the bill.
