Fortnite players have discovered that Update 21.10 introduced instances of classic map POIs popping in and changing locations in Season 3.

Epic Games deployed Fornite’s 21.10 patch on June 21, unleashing a whole host of new additions to the multiplayer experience.

Most notably, the latest update dropped Darth Vader and his Stormtroopers on the Island. Those who go toe-to-toe with and defeat the Sith Lord will be able to wield his Lightsaber.

The 21.10 patch also unlocks Super Styles for the Chapter 3 Season 3 Battle Pass skins. Auric Blaze, Lapis Slurp, and Platinum Rift styles apply to the following characters: Adira, Evie, Malik, Sabina, and Stormfarer.

Epic’s patch notes didn’t outline all of the noteworthy changes in 21.10, however. After downloading the update, players such as Twitter user Nanass found that POIs from Chapters 1 and 2 will randomly disrupt the flow of things on the Chapter 3 Season 3 map.

For example, Season 3’s Logjam Lumberyard now switches its theme during every match. One instance may see the locale adopt Chapter 1 Season 8’s Lazy Lagoon pirate ship.

Fortnite leaker HYPEX also pointed out that other POI changes include those related to Coral Castle, Colossal Coliseum, and Tilted Town.

Presumably, the newly implemented Reality Tree spawned these alterations to Fortnite’s Season 3 map. As the tree’s roots spread across the map, reality will likely continue to shift and warp.

Epic Games has even bigger plans for the rest of the week, too. To the delight of many fans, the eagerly-awaited Naruto Rivals crossover goes live on Wednesday, June 23.

Marketing photos and leaked details suggest the upcoming event will come complete with skins for the likes of Gaara, Hinata Itachi, and Orochimaru.
