Fortnite's next big crossover rumored to be Mighty Morphin Power Rangers

Fortnite’s next big crossover is rumored to be with the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers as Epic Games’ takes fans back to the original series.

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers is undoubtedly a household name at this point, having dug itself deep into the zeitgeist ever since its first airing in 1993, with the franchise even crossing over with the likes of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles at one point.

And when it comes to massive crossovers between pop culture icons, nobody does it better than Epic Games with Fortnite. From their Family Guy crossover that confused Seth Macfarlane himself, to their recent collab with Lego that spawned an entirely new game in just 2023 alone.

Despite such a jam-packed year of crossovers and collaborations, Epic isn’t stopping there as it has been rumored that their next big collaboration may be with Power Rangers.

According to Nick “Shpeshal_Nick” Baker of XboxEra, Epic is working on a Power Ranger crossover and it may be coming soon.

“What I’ve heard about who’s coming to Fortnite, and it may be soon… remember Epic is very funny on timelines, I’ve heard that we might be seeing the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers coming to Fortnite,” Nick revealed on the podcast.

As for what we can expect, Nick was reticent on details as the only information he received was that they were potentially coming. So we won’t know exactly how the crossover skin or event-wise will play out. But it’s likely fans can expect plenty of skins, one for each in the main lineup, and even some potential villains from the original series.

However, we do not currently know when it will come out as Nick also warns that there is no concrete timeline or release date for the rumored crossover with Power Rangers. Of course, it’s best to take the rumor with a grain of salt until confirmed by official sources.
