Here’s a breakdown of how combos work in WWE 2K24, including the different types of them and how the inputs function.

In WWE 2K24, three are three different archetypes for combos: Light, Heavy, and Grab Combos. And, each comes with their own different kind of inputs.

But, how exactly do these combos work in WWE 2K24?

Here’s an overview of the three.

Light Combo

Light Combos in WWE 2K24 end with either X (for Xbox) or Square (for PlayStation).

Light Combos are essentially combos that involve just spamming X/Square three or four times until a combo is achieved. However, there are Combos that can be hit with the assistance of the left stick.

Moving the left stick left or right, depending whether it’s toward or away from the opposition, gives players more options. This is because there are Away and Towards Combos, in addition to Neutral ones.

Heavy Combo

A Heavy Combo in WWE 2K24 is any combo that ends with either A (for Xbox) or X (for PlayStation). These can include X + X + A for the Xbox, or Square + Square + Square + Square + X for the PlayStation, and so on.

And, A/X can be combined and used off one another. For example, X + A + A + A.

Grab Combo

The last kind of combo in WWE 2K24 is a Grab Combo. Grab Combos end with either B (for Xbox) or Circle (for PlayStation).

Grab Combos work differently, as compared to Light and Heavy Combos. B/Circle can only be used once in a combo, when it ends it.

With all three types, keep in mind that each wrestler in WWE 2K24 has a different moveset. Thus, make sure to check out the moveset in the Pause menu if necessary.
