Skull and Bones players are convinced that the game will be ruined if the devs leave a major issue unfixed before full release.

After a string of delays, Skull and Bones is now here – but some players have been playing the game early, thanks to pre-orders and Premium Edition perks. However, it took a major portion of the community only a couple of days to realize that the game would be ruined if the devs left spawns of Rogue ships unfixed as part of end-game content before release.

While some players have suggested some counters to this problem, others believe this would lead to heavy grief, leaving low players in distress and perhaps turning them away from the game in general.

Players want devs “fix rogue spawns before mega grief happens”

Taking to Reddit, a user sparked a discussion where they stated that Skull and Bones will “be a blood bath if you match new players with higher level folks.”

The player was performing delivery quests when they found Level 10 rogue spawns were waiting just outside of the starter port when they were about to leave: “What if I just sit there and watch that fresh new face sail by with zero knowledge of what is going to happen? Yep. You can 100% abuse this. Fix the spawns guys. And quickly.”

“Fixing chat should 100% make this kind of stuff better,” said others as they joined to express their anger and frustration. “Lil’ Prox chat could make this game awesome, good point!”

Some players suggested a simple fix to the game’s AI where Ubisoft can tweak it a little so that it ignores “anyone not doing the quest unless that player attacks first.” This would allow players of relatively lower levels to pass by without getting attacked by heavy lifters.

A certain group of players found this issue repeating while doing the “Life after Death” quest where they weren’t able to “interact with the settlement because there is an army of rouges and Fara there.” “Fought them for 30 mins with other randies…but the respawn rate makes it impossible” they continued.

On the other hand, some players believe separating “leveling lobbies from Kingpin lobbies” would work better as “that could help make endgame more engaging by making sure everyone is a Kingpin and able to participate in world events while keeping leveling lobbies clean from Rogue harassment and unbeatable world events.”
