Reload brings the original game up to modern standards with a graphical overhaul that gives it a presentation akin to Persona 5 Royal, and a handful of new mechanics including changes to Tartarus, and new collectibles like Twilight Fragments.

One thing that’s stayed the same, however, is the emphasis on fusing Personas to get even more powerful ones. As you progress through Persona 3 Reload, it’s important to unlock stronger Personas so you can tackle the tougher content in the late game, and one of the strongest is Messiah.

How to fuse Messiah in Persona 3 Reload

To obtain Messiah in Persona 3 Reload, simply follow the steps below:

1. Max out the Judgement Social Link from the Nyx Annihilation Team which is automatically unlocked on December 31.
2. Make sure the protagonist is at least Level 91 as that’s the level needed to fuse Messiah.
3. Once you’ve met both requirements, head to Velvet Room and combine the fool Persona Orpheus and the Death Persona Thanatos.

Orphurus will be available to you from the beginning of Persona 3 Reload but Thanatos will require you to max out the Death Social Link with Pharos, which gets automatically unlocked on June 21.

Messiah is a massively powerful Persona in the game who can provide some staggering healing buffs, as well as deal great physical damage to enemies, so it’s well worth investing the time to unlock.
