In a key quality-of-life update, Monster Hunter Now fans will finally be able to favorite their weapons and armor to help easily see the materials they need to upgrade their gear.

Monster Hunter Now has taken the mobile gaming world by storm, with both fans of the traditional Monster Hunter series and the likes of Pokemon Go coming together to help take down some pretty deadly enemies.

Naturally, the game isn’t without its faults, with many slamming MHN for its insistent grind and farming nature, with some highlighting how it takes 25 days to max out one key weapon. Now, it seems Niantic is striving to make that grind a little easier, with the ability to favorite certain setups and easily see which materials you’ll need.

Monster Hunter Now fans can finally favorite weapons and armor in major QoL update

Sharing the update on X, Niantic announced that Monster Hunter Now would be getting a key update to the way fans track their upgrades, with the ability to favorite your setups and the items you want to forge.

The post reads: “By adding the weapons and armor you want to forge or upgrade to Favorites, you can now easily see which materials you need.” This will shorten the time players take to search or remember what they need to hunt and what parts they need to gather in order to upgrade their setup.

Ultimately, when you favorite the weapon or armor, an icon will appear whenever you manage to collect that material, so you can know whether it was a truly successful hunt.

It’s certainly an exciting change for those who found the upgrading process a little tricky and will undeniably aid players new and veteran on their journey.

Now, all that’s left for Niantic to do is to sort out the frustrating connectivity issues bug that many of the community are currently experiencing.
