All the chaos and butchering aside in Palworld, players have requested devs to add this wholesome feature to the game.

While Palworld may be occasionally referred to as “Pokemon with guns” with all the chaotic things that can happen, the game does have a surprising feature that lets players pet their Pals.

Some players appreciate seeing their Pals’ faces light up when getting petted, even those with a clinical-like appearance, such as Fuack and Depresso.

The whole idea of being able to show affection to your Pal itself seems to have inspired players to suggest one wholesome feature to be added.

“Please allow the sad pals to come asking for a petting,” suggested one user in a Reddit thread. They mentioned how it would be cool if Pals came to the players for attention like real pets.

But there’s a catch. Players should also be able to adjust the settings to determine which ones can come, giving players a “cute sight” upon returning to their base.

A lot of players in the comments support this idea. “I like this idea. Would make more of a positive connection instead of ‘Oh he’s sick… Where’s my butcher’s knife?’,” one user wrote.

Another user said, “Yes. It’d be so adorable if I could just pet them and make them feel better. Especially depressed pals.” Replying to this comment, a different user suggested that it would be great if getting petted could cure most ailments.

Meanwhile, another user claimed this idea would be good and suggested a friendship or loyalty-based feature where Pals get a bonus that slows their SAN decrease rate the longer they travel with you.

There’s also another reply suggesting that they would like to be able to give Pals stuffies and play with them. While these are suggestions for now, who knows, similar features may be added to the game, considering devs have plans to add more content according to the roadmap.
