Players can evolve Chimchar into Monferno by using 25 Candy. After that, they can use 100 more Candy to turn their Monferno into its final stage, Infernape.

There’s no special method or item needed to complete the process. All players have to do is collect a bunch of Candies.

Can Monferno be Shiny in Pokemon Go?

Yes, players can find a Shiny Monferno in the game. However, they won’t find it as Monferno per se, as this Shiny version won’t spawn in the wild or Raid battles.

What players looking for a Shiny Monferno can do is capture a Shiny Chimchar and evolve it with the help of 25 Candies.
