Pokemon Go players are praising the upcoming Sinnoh Tour for bringing back one of their favorite Mega Evolutions.

The Pokemon Go Sinnoh Tour has players eagerly anticipating some tricky new Raid bosses, Spotlight Hours, and a month of exciting events spanning across February. It marks a strong start to the year after a variety of new events in January and many fans are eagerly awaiting the release of one Pokemon in particular.

Along with the Spotlight Hours and events, it was revealed that the highly anticipated Mega Absol would be returning to Pokemon Go as a part of their Mega Raids, and fans are already obsessed.

When one Pokemon Go player helpfully shared the Sinnoh Tour infographic on Reddit, fans instantly took to the comments and subreddit to share their excitement for Mega Absol.

“Mega Absol is back. This is not a drill” exclaimed one user, posting the section of the reveal to the Pokemon Go subreddit. Shortly after, hundreds of players took to the comments to share their excitement.

“I actually let out a shriek when I saw it. Time to finally complete the mega Pokedex” commented one user, highlighting how long it’s been since Mega Absol was last seen.

In fact, as explained by one fan, “Mega Absol has only been in raids once, being its initial debut in October 2021” which easily explains the hype from players, and reveals just how rare this Pokemon really is in the game.

The rarity of Mega Absol is most of its allure, and while it may not be the most powerful Pokemon in the game, tons of fans are looking to complete their Pokedex and catch this tricky Mon, meaning they’ll have to be ready for its arrival soon.

Mega Absol will be appearing in Mega Raids between February 15 – 22, so you’ll have exactly one week to grab this beautiful Pokemon.
