Mismagius announced for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

Pokemon Scarlet & Violet have announced that Mismagius will briefly appear for a 5-star Halloween Tera Raid event.

The Generation 9 games have previously hosted several Tera Raid events featuring past starter Pokemon. For example, Scarlet & Violet trainers could take on familiar creatures like Delphox, Rillaboom, and Samurott.

Besides 7-star Raids, Scarlet & Violet has also featured a few Pokemon for 5-star events. Previously, they spotlighted Paradox mons Slither Wing and Iron Moth in September 2023.

Now, Generation 4’s Mismagius has entered the chat with an upcoming Halloween-themed 5-star Tera Raid. Here’s everything you need to know.

Mismagius Tera Raid added to Pokemon Scarlet & Violet

Twitter user Serebii has confirmed Mismagius would spawn in 5-star Tera Raids in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet. It will appear with a Ghost Tera-type, which is its original typing.

Considering the event is called Trick and Treats from Mismagius, trainers will receive an increased amount of Rare Candy than usual from completing the Raid.

The Mismagius Tera Raid will run from 00:00 UTC on October 27 through 23:59 UTC on October 29, 2023.

Players need to catch a Misdreavus and evolve it with a Dusk Stone to obtain Mismagius. You can find a Dusk Stone in the town of Montenevera.

However, Mismagius remains exclusive to Pokemon Violet. Therefore, Pokemon Scarlet owners must trade with their friends to fill up this Pokedex entry.

While Pokemon Scarlet users can’t catch Misdreavus, they can encounter its Ancient Paradox form – Flutter Mane. You can find the Ghost/Fairy-type in The Great Crater of Paldea (Area Zero) after reaching the endgame credits.

With the addition of Mismagius in a limited-time Tera Raid, some trainers are hoping Scarlet & Violet will do the same with the Scarlet-exclusive Drifblim.
