Tim and Jamal had an argument on 90 Day: The Single Life, but Jamal took things too far when he mentioned Veronica’s daughter.
Veronica Rodriguez is dating her much-younger boyfriend Jamal Menzies on 90 Day: The Single Life, and her ex Tim Malcolm doesn’t approve of the relationship yet.
Jamal visited Veronica in Charlotte, North Carolina with his two friends from Virginia, but when Tim joined them while all they went out together, the drama got heated.
Tim told Jamal he had only heard negative things about the relationship, and wants to see how he treats Veronica’s teenage daughter, Chloe Sanchez.
Jamal accused Tim of trying to be the “parent of the year,” which hit below the belt because Tim helped Veronica raise Chloe for 12 years and stepped in as her father figure.
TLC90 Day Fiancé fans are on Tim’s side
On Reddit, 90 Day Fiancé fans slammed Jamal’s inappropriate comments about Tim parenting Chloe.
“He has no business saying anything about Tim being a father. Absolutely uncalled for,” one fan argued.
“Yeah. This instantly encouraged me to be 100% done with Jamal and his childish behavior,” another fan agreed.
A third user defended Tim and Veronica’s amicable relationship and said, “The fact that she’s still friends with the guy who raised her daughter is a green flag for me.”
Even though Tim and Veronica staying friends after their split may seem strange to Jamal, they’ve proven that exes can still be cordial and don’t have to stop speaking.
Tim continued to keep his relationship with Chloe and not let the breakup tear them apart because they became so close over the years. This shows how strong their family bond really is.
Jamal and Veronica’s relationship just started when 90 Day: The Single Life was filming, and he has to spend more time around Tim and Chloe to understand their family dynamic.
