Below Deck Down Under fans worried about Tzarina’s decision on Joao relationship

Joao and Tzarina are slowly becoming more than just friends on Below Deck Down Under. Yet fans fear Joao will leave Tzarina heartbroken in the end.

Things are getting heated for Joao and Tzarina on Below Deck Down Under. Their slow-burn romance has been sizzling with tension lately as the bosun and chef get closer by the minute.

Now that Joao has asked Tzarina on an official date, the chef is beginning to worry about the consequences derived from catching feelings for Joao. She is well aware of his troubled past, and she thinks it’s nearly inevitable that he’ll end up hurting her. Unfortunately, fans agree with this possibility, claiming Joao “hasn’t changed.”

Can Joao and Tzarina make it work on Below Deck Down Under?

It seems like every “boatmance” thus far in season 2 of Below Deck Down Under has ended in shambles. According to fans of the Bravo series, Tzarina and Joao will be no exception.

Even Tzarina anticipates getting her heart broken by Joao, and she admits her hesitance in the preview for season 2, episode 16.

“All my walls are up,” she says in the sneak peek preview.

As much as viewers of the reality series are enjoying the chemistry between the bosun and chef, many are under the impression that Tzarina is playing with fire.

“I’m worried for her,” one fan wrote on the Below Deck Down Under Subreddit. “I have trouble believing he has changed at all. He is just chasing what he can’t have, as always. The moment he thinks he has blown past her walls he is going to drop her like a stone. It’s killing me to watch her give in.”

Another agreed, writing, “Joao is not gonna be interested long term and I feel like Cheffy is gonna end up getting hurt by him.”
