Love is Blind fans can’t wait for season 5 of the hit reality series, yet they have one complaint they want fixed for the next installment.

Love is Blind is returning to our screens for its fifth season on September 22. The series is unlike any other, as it tests out the theory of whether people can truly fall in love sight unseen.

Fans are ecstatic about the show’s return, yet they have one pretty big complaint about the reality dating series that has the ability to make or break the show.

Love is Blind gets complaints from audiences over the cast selection

The Netflix dating show is unique in the sense that life-altering decisions are made in just 10 episodes. Contestants will have to make major life decisions that can make or break the romances they’ve formed inside the pods.

Yet one big flaw from the series, as fans have pointed out, is that its recent seasons have attracted people who don’t seem to be on the show for the right reasons. While the purpose of Love is Blind is for contestants to form a marriage that will last a lifetime, viewers worry that some cast mates are just in it for the fame.

A handful of viewers are under the impression that because the show has amassed so much popularity over the past few years, many “clout chasers” have been using the series as a platform to draw attention to their brands and businesses.

What fans wish more than anything is for the show to be more selective in its cast members to decipher who is genuinely in it to find marriage.

“How many are there for real this time or to get their followers up or to promote their business?” one fan asked on the Love is Blind official Instagram page.

Many agreed, going on to criticize the casting directly. “Let this be the last season because ya’ll suck at casting,” they said.

Can season 5 fix this problem? Fans will have to find out themselves this September.
