Stacy and Izzy broke things off on Love is Blind Season 5 over money issues. Now, Shake Chatterjee from Season 2 is weighing in with his advice.

Every season of Love is Blind has had its fair share of drama thus far. When we think back to Season 2, Shake Chatterjee was one contestants who certainly caused a stir.

He connected with a woman named Deepti Vemapti in the pods before they met face-to-face. When they finally did meet each other, he quickly realized he wasn’t attracted to her… and he wanted the entire world to know about it.

Now, Shake is happy to share his opinions and thoughts about couples from other seasons of the hit reality TV show. Most recently, he’s chosen to weigh in on the downfall of Stacy and Izzy. Here’s what she had to say about their breakup.

Shake Chatterjee’s advice for Stacy and Izzy’s dilemma

Shake’s first piece of advice is to open up about finances with your partner. In his opinion, it makes the most sense to lay it all out on the line so both people are aware of what’s going on monetarily.

He encourages couples to discuss debt, savings accounts, and credit scores. As a reminder, Izzy’s low credit score was one of the hot topics of conversation during the fifth season of Love is Blind.

Shake’s second big point was to turn budgeting into a date night activity. He notes that although this might not sound super romantic, it’s still crucial.

He claims that mapping out the future of your financial goals as a team can be a bonding experience.

Shake went on to say it’s key to focus on debt reduction and repairing your credit if necessary. He was definitely deemed the “villain” of Season 2, but that isn’t stopping him from sharing his financial insight.

The gist of his advice is to start planning for a better financial future with your partner. Is it possible these gems would’ve made a difference from Stacy and Izzy if they’d heard them earlier on?
